Bullying can result in physical injury, social and emotional distress, self-harm, and even death. It also increases the risk for depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, lower academic achievement, and dropping out of school.
What is Anti-Bullying Act of 2013? Republic Act No. 10627 or the "Anti-Bullying Act of 2013" is a relatively new law which seeks to address hostile environment at school that disrupts the education process which, in turn, is not conducive to the total development of a child at school.
Cyberbulling
includes actions to manipulate, harass and defame any person. These hostile actions are seriously damaging and can affect anyone easily and gravely. They take place on social media, public forums, and other online information websites. A cyberbully is not necessarily a stranger; it may also be someone you know.
